PM Kisan Yojana e-KYC: Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana is the biggest and main scheme for those poor farmers. Under this scheme, farmers will be provided assistance up to ₹ 6000 annually. This assistance amount is transferred directly to the bank accounts of the farmers.

Farmers who have opened Jan Dhan Yojana or other bank accounts will get the benefit of the scheme every three months. Farmers’ accounts will need to be corrected to receive the money. The central government has implemented a new rule, in which farmers who do not have e-KYC in their accounts will have to do it, otherwise they will not get the benefit of the scheme.

PM Kisan KYC Required Documents List 2024

To complete the KYC process for the PM Kisan scheme, farmers need the following documents:

  1. Aadhaar Card for the application form
  2. Active bank account linked to Aadhaar
  3. Land ownership documents such as land records or certificates
  4. IFSC code of the bank
  5. Name of the farmer or spouse
  6. Date of birth of the farmer or spouse

Benefits will be given only after doing e-KYC

Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana, only those farmers are being selected to give assistance amount whose bank account does not have any problem and those farmers who have completed their KYC process, almost all the registered farmers in the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana have completed their e-KYC process, and those farmers who are still deprived of this work are continuously completing the work of e-KYC. Accounts without e-KYC can also be expelled from this scheme.

E KYC with the help of Biometrics

Due to the mandatory e-KYC process in the bank account, e-KYC is being completed by biometrics along with Aadhar card and mobile number. If you do not have your own registered mobile number, then you can get e-KYC done by biometrics. Through biometrics, e-KYC of farmers will be completed by putting thumb impression, which is extremely convenient for all farmers. Once e-KYC is completed, your bank account is activated.

Do e-KYC from home

If you are a registered farmer of PM Kisan Yojana and you use an Android mobile phone, then you can complete your e-KYC from home, and you will not need to visit any online center or the concerned bank.

How to do e-KYC of PM Kisan Yojana?

  1. To do e-KYC under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana, you have to visit the official website.
  2. There, on the home page, there will be the main link for KYC on clicking which you will be redirected to a new page.
  3. In that page, you will need to enter your Aadhaar number and mobile number.
  4. After entering the mobile number, you will be given an OTP which needs to be entered in the designated place.
  5. If you want to do KYC using biometrics, then select this option and put any finger.
